A Little Bit About Our Site...

    Hi.  For those of you that don't know us or may have just met us, here's a little
    bit about us.  Our names are Chris and Marlene Sand, and we live in Fort
    McMurray, Alberta Canada, where we have both worked for Syncrude Canada
    Ltd for almost 20 years.  Working in Northern Alberta for the same company
    over the years has allowed us the opportunity to travel around the globe
    extensively over the last 15 years.                

    Over the years we have visited various parts of Canada, USA, Mexico, Belize,
    Guatemala, Honduras, Colombia, Bahamas, Dominican Republic, UK,
    Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Zambia, Zimbabwe,
    Malawi, Tanzania, Kenya, Japan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong,
    Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar, Korea and last but not least Thailand.

    What you'll see on this new website is a little glimpse of some of our recent
    travels through Central America and Asia, but mostly what you'll get is a day to
    day window of our travels through the Philippines from December, 2006 to
    March, 2007.  **NOTE: Due to unforseen problems with the weather in the
    Philippines, the trip has been temporarily relocated to beautiful sunny Thailand
    for three weeks in February.  We will be returning to Manila at the end of the
    month for four days before flying home.
